The CCD camera is a monochrome IEEE 1394 digital camera suitable for a wide array of both low-light and bright-field scientific imaging applications. The IEEE 1394 interface, also known as FireWire, allows for extremely easy interfacing to both desktop and notebook computers. The camera has 1360 x 1024 pixel resolution with dynamic range of 12 bits.
