The V-GES vertical gel electrophoresis system includes an electrophoresis tank, electrode module, and two casting modules that can make and run up to two gels simultaneously. With diverse spacers and combs, the casting module can make various gels with different thickness and well numbers according to the requirements of the experiment. The system is well suited for SDS-PAGE, native PAGE, and proteomic applications. Wealtec ELITE power supplies are recommended for the V-GES cell. The injection-molded unit offers a compact design and user-friendly operation. It can cast and run two gels simultaneously. A one-gel gate is available for running a single gel. There is sufficient buffer for passive cool-down temperature. The unit’s safety lid protects the operator from the risk of electric shock. The Uni-direction design lid ensures correct gel running direction. |
